You use it whenever you are competing in a race sanctioning body or at a track that mandates one-way Race Control communications. Series like IMCA, USAC, ARCA, Lucas Oil Late Model, and NASCAR require drivers to wear a receiver so officials can broadcast safety calls instantly.

The Nitro Bee Xtreme features a built-in Xtreme Speaker Amplifier - a proprietary internal amp combined with high-output stereo earpiece driving - so voice communications cut through loud engine noise clearly.

An integrated rechargeable Lithium-ion battery charged via a standard USB-C port eliminates the need for replaceable AAA/AA batteries and charges quickly between heat races.

It operates across the entire UHF 400–480 MHz spectrum and supports both analog and digital signals. It comes pre-programmed with standard Rugged Radios channels and FRS/GMRS frequencies out of the box, but you can also manually input or PC-program custom track frequencies.
