Use this extension to connect your radio jumper to your intercom, your headset to your radio jumper, or any other 5-pin application. Available in straight cord and coil cord options.
Use this cable to:
- Connect your radio to your intercom when the standard pigtail or cable is not long enough.
- Connect your Two Way Rugged Radios Headset directly to your Mobile Rugged Radio including, but not limited to, the GMR25, GMR45, G1 and M1-V.
- This cable can also be used as an extension for any compatible 5-Pin accessories.

I am the emergecy coordinator (course control) for San Diego Bayfair World Series of Powerboat Racing on Mission Bay (San Diego). I use Rugged headphones/boom mic with 5 pin male/female connectors. I've used those headphones over 11 years and had no problems. This year (2024) at the Gold Cup I noticed the straight 4ft. 5-pin (male/female) connector outer case was flaking off. We made it through the weekend and packed my base radio set-up away. I knew I had to fix the cable extension and tape was not an option. I went to the Rugged website and found the correct cable with no problems and ordered it. When the cable arrived it fit first time. I am very satified with Rugged and would recomend them for any sports applications.

Don't waste your money or your time. An honorable merchant would clearly explain in the description that their equipment is proprietary. I do not recommend it, and I will never purchase another piece of their equipment. I have deleted their bookmark from my favorites. Don't make my mistake.
