ADVENTURE PACK - GMR2 PLUS - GMRS / FRS Two Way Handheld Radios with Accessories
The clarity in comm's is so crucial! No background noise, feedback or anything else besides a clear voice coming through. Some of my videos have gone crazy viral using our Rivian to help get semi's, cars and trucks unstuck using our recovery gear. Being able to have this system for those future times. We used the radios to stage our bikers, athletes and others for photo ops. Makes my photography life so much better!!

ADVENTURE PACK - GMR2 PLUS - GMRS / FRS Two Way Handheld Radios with Accessories
Tested these after I bought them at a local polaris dealer. On the lower channels, we were able to communicate clearly for at least 1 mile with a bodyshop next to him between us. These are loud speakers. Built well. I'm sure the upper channels would produce better results further apart. Very easy to use. I gave these 4 stars only because without purchasing larger batteries, there is only 1 charging option. I've already dropped one, very well built. For side by side use, excellent.

The GMRS2 Plus radios are good radios for the most part. The instructions in the User Manual to use CODES are terrible. Our group uses GMRS channel 21 with a code 1. The people with Motorola radios can enter the 1 code in seconds. Rugged Radio needs to simplify this procedure with their radios. The User Manual Rugged Radio provides does not explain clearly how to enter a code. You shouldn’t need to even look at the manual.

These seem to work great. I haven’t really been able to use them out in the hills yet but my son lives about 2 miles from my house and he took one to his house and they worked great.
