NOTE: The center conductor inside the NMO antenna stud is not solid metal and can be damaged if overtightened. As shown in the photo above, when installing the NMO nut, we recommend holding the wrench vertically to reduce torque and overtightening.

Ford Bronco Two-Way GMRS Mobile Radio Kit Rambler G4
I commend Rugged Radios for there marketing and packaging. I do however think your products are priced on the " high side". I would hope that the extra cost will equate to excellent customer service if ever needed. The radios works great and using repeaters I have achieved amazing range. The installation was not anywhere as easy as your instructional video made it out to be, especially the fishing of the power and antenna wires between the firewall and center console. I used a coat hanger for a fish tape and was eventually sucessful. You might upgrade your video to include this necessary step. The Bronco specific mounting bracket is awesome although the grab handle blocks one's view of the radio while driving. A grab handle eliminator would be a good option to come up with. The pdf instruction manuals are barely adequate and don't clearly explain fine details of programming . A comprehensive printed manual would be appreciated. Other than these few complaints I am very happy with the 2 radios I have purchased , the GMS2 Plus included. Thanks for a good product.

Ford Bronco Two-Way GMRS Mobile Radio Kit Rambler G4
The radio is quality, the mic is quality, the display, really everything about this product is great. The reason for 4 stars is that for the bronco specific antenna mount for the A-Pillar requires cutting and drilling into the mirror arm for the wires. If the antenna mount was extended a little bit into the open space, it might’ve been more ideal. I ended up not using the bronco antenna mount and mounted the antenna on my Hammer Built antenna mount in the rear of my bronco. Aside from that, I’m really loving this rugged radios kit.

Ford Bronco Two-Way GMRS Mobile Radio Kit G1 Waterproof
This is a really nice kit. I ordered it with the G1. There are only a couple things keeping it from a five star review: 1. Hardware: This is of good quality, however, the screws to hold the radio to the mount are SAE. I would prefer it to be metric like the rest of the Bronco. Also, they supply Torx bolts to mount the bracket while on the Bronco they are Torx Plus. 2. The antenna cable is way too long for the supplied mounting location so you need to get creative to avoid loops. A couple install notes: 1. The original passenger grab handle bolts are TP, not Torx. Use the proper bit. 2. The bolts at the mirror are TP25 and TP30, not Torx 25 as called out in the instructions. Again, use the proper driver. 3. If I were doing it again I would cut the connectors off both the antenna and power cables before passing through the firewall grommet. On a manual transmission Bronco this is definitely not fun, and would be much easier to route the cables. I would then be able to trim both to their proper lengths before crimping on new connectors. It would save time and result in a neater installation if this is in your skill set.
