This Mini External Speaker is one of our favorite radio accessories with amazing audio amplifying abilities. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket making it the perfect speaker to take everywhere.

The Mini Speaker can plug into any 3.5mm speaker outlet giving you the power needed for high noise environments. You won’t be disappointed by the audio pumping out of this little guy.

SPECIAL NOTE WHEN USING EXTERNAL SPEAKER WITH INTERCOM SYSTEM

When using an external speaker connected to your radio, please note the following. To make sure radio traffic is also heard in your headset or helmet kit, you must use both the CJ-SPK-DC and SPLITTER-MONO-3.5. Together, these will disable the radio speaker while passing the signal to both the external speaker and into your intercom. (not compatible with Rugged Radios RDM-DB).

Always room for improvement. I would like to see Rugged maybe partner with some companies such as bulletpoint mounting solutions so that they can do some collaborative work together and bring people products that are much more versatile. I have take the Bulletpoint mounting solutions ball and added to two of these speakers now so that I have a good place to mount the speaker for use with the rugged radio system and my dashmount system currently installed in my broncos. I would add a photo however it doesnt appear that I can do that for this particular review. Other that I like the product seems to be well made and ready for use in any situation. These are not waterproof

I WAS LOOKING FOR JUST A LITTLE MORE SOUND OUT OF MY G1 RADIO AND THIS MINI SPEAKER WAS IT, WORKS GREAT AND i DO NOT HAVE TO RUN A POWER WIRE FOR IT JUST PLUGS IN TO THE RADIO. I HAVE BEEN SUPER HAPPY WITH ALL THE PRODUCT I HAVE PURCHASED FROM RUGGED RADIO GREAT TEAM AND SERVICE

Very small, regular speaker on radio seems louder to me, but haven’t had time to fully test it on trail yet, so kinda skeptical
