The GMRS-POINT5 / UHF optimizes your GMRS radio by delivering the best signal performance throughout the programmed channels.
Measuring a total of only 12.5", the POINT5 antenna packs big performance in a small size. Functions on any frequency between 406-470MHz, including GMRS.
Molded high heat ABS mounting base features silver soldered connections, gold plated push pin contacts and o-ring.
For optimal performance, we recommend a ground plane surface mounting such as a metal roof, which aids in signal performance.
Please refer to our Tech Installation Guide for proper antenna placement, preparing the surface area, and installation.

So far I haven't had a chance to use it when out off-roading, but I did ride my SxS about a mile from home in a residential area and all was good! Glad I now have the correct antenna for GMRS

This is a small and sleek antenna that packs a power punch when paired with the GMRS mobile mounted units. I have two of these with. GMRS 45 and 25 units and they work great!!
