Plastic locking boom mic in place is cheap and breaks easily. I am now replacing my second one. Replacing is not the easiest. Need to know how to solder or do other wire connectors. It is not an easy plug n play

Flex Boom for H42/H22 Ultimate Headset and H43 Headset
Our headsets have 18,000 miles on them without incident. The boom mic failed when a passenger removed the BTH utilizing the boom mic as a handle, this caused the boom to crack at its base.
Very easy to install.
