Note: Helmet wiring kits or headsets are not included and must be added separately to complete your system. If the radio is not mounted within one foot of the main intercom body, a 5-pin extension is required to link the radio and intercom together.

STX STEREO Complete Master Communication Kit with Intercom and 2-Way Radio M1 VHF Business Band
I run the STX and the G1, and i think they are great products. I use the STX daily while i drive on the highway to listen to some music, and when i occasionally have a passenger, it works very well for in vehicle communication. i don't use the g1 as often, but when I'm on the trails it is very helpful. I decided to go with a system like this because my experience with handhelds does not compare. When i would use a handheld, i always had the problem of it flying across the cabin when I'm banked to the side, and i have to unstrap and reach across to grab it. using the g1, and my headset, its much more convenient. I can keep my hands where i need them. The only issue i had with the G1 was a burn fuse shortly after the install, but i sent it back and they fixed it in no time and had it right back to me, and it has has no problems since.

Great quality products and super easy install. Wiring diagrams made it super simple. Super happy with everything so far. Did a little drive around town and talking to my passenger is so much nicer. Trying to talk over a straight piped ls3 is a little hard haha.

BUILDER KIT - 1st Generation STX STEREO High Fidelity Intercom System with Bluetooth Music - CLEARANCE
Recently upgraded from the 696+ to the STX and not too impressed given today's technology and the quality of music that is produced. Room for improvement for sure.

Well built, and simple to design and install. I wasn't prepared for how nice it really is to be able to communicate at all, let alone have full conversations while managing the music intelligently.
